Need replacement doors in your Sierra Vista home?
You may be wondering what to look for when deciding on replacement doors for your Southeastern Arizona home. Is it the cost of the door? Is it the color or style? Is it the energy efficiency of the door? Is it the reputation or warranty of the manufacturer? Maybe it is the installation company? It is all of this and more!
Choosing the correct replacement doors for your Hereford, Bisbee, Douglas, Tombstone, Benson or Sierra Vista home involves a significant investment but the search does not have to be burdensome. We are here to help! Sierra Remodeling has been selling and installing quality door replacement products throughout the Vistas including Cochise and Santa Cruz Counties since 1979.
While of course pricing is an important determining factor, it should not be the only reason you decide to buy from a particular Sierra Vista replacement door installer. Lowest price is not necessarily the best deal. Lowest price means exactly that. Maybe you have found the cheapest door, but what is it truly worth? How will it perform over time? How much money will you save in two years, three years and in five years? How much did you really save if the door or the installation fail and you need to re-do the job?
Our professional Sierra Vista home improvement and home repair contractors can assess your home, listen to your needs and offer the best possible door replacement products and solutions in your home.
We have chosen to partner with Jeld-Wen because we are sure that they produce some of the best interior, exterior and patio doors for your Southeastern Arizona home. Renovations to begin on SEAGO’s new office location.
After many months of efforts to prepare the necessary plans, specifications and bid documents, SEAGO has successfully procured a general contractor to renovate its new office location at 1403 West SR 92 in Bisbee, Arizona. The project was first bid in February of this year, but only one bid was received and the proposed cost was nearly twice the amount budgeted for the project. The project was re-advertised in June and bids were opened on July 12th.
The low bid was from Sierra Remodeling and Home Builders, from nearby Sierra Vista, Arizona. After evaluating the bids, seeking clarifications on several items, selecting bid alternates, and checking the apparent low bidder’s references and records from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, SEAGO issued a Notice of Award to the contractor in the amount of $134,457.61 on July 26th. A Notice to Proceed will be issued after SEAGO receives the required 100% Performance Bond, 100% Labor and Materials Bond, and executed contract documents from the contractor.
“Sierra Remodeling and Home Builders has a perfect record with the Registrar of Contractors, and all of their references raved about their responsiveness to customer concerns, quality work and customer service” said Randy Heiss, SEAGO’s Executive Director. “It took a long time and a lot of work to reach this point, and we are truly excited at the prospect of working with such a reputable firm and look forward to successful project completion” Heiss said.
SEAGO purchased the existing building and approximately 2 acres near the intersection of SR 92 and Melody Lane in October 2010. The contractor’s performance period is 120 days, so it is anticipated that this project will be completed by December. A grand opening will be held in January 2013 after SEAGO has settled into its new home.
